Has worked with creative textiles
for over a decade, stemming from childhood experiences that led
to a passion for her craft. She has spent her
entire life creating costumes for theater, dance, and live
music – culminating in a BA in costume design and history
from the University of Massachusetts. Coordinated and taught
workshops at the University of Massachusetts Amherst crafts center.
Has assisted the costume shop manager in the Department of Theater
since 1997. Has taught costume design at the Pioneer Valley Performing
Arts High School since 2004. Other positions include head painter/dyer
for the Santa Fe Opera, production assistant to author/illustrator
Eric Carle. Designed and constructed costumes for shows at the
Boston Ballet, New Century Theater (Smith College), and Shakespeare
and Company.
