Trained as a tailor by her father, a master tailor from a long line of Italian master tailors. Operated her own business designing and making high quality tailored clothing in Montevideo. Joined the Department of Theater in 1978. Has designed and built costumes for Shakespeare & Company, the Pioneer Valley Ballet, the UMass Department of Music and Dance and the Hartford Ballet.
